How To Survive Mid-Terms || Advice

Hello! Don't worry, there is still a week or two until Mid-Terms. But if you don't begin to prepare now, time always slips away, and before you know it, you're cramming for tomorrow's exam.
I get so anxious about projects, exams and papers, especially presentations. Here is what I keep in mind during these stressful times <3

1. Stay Organized: I already LOVE my planner. When lots of assignments are coming up, I plan how much I'm going to work on certain assignments each day. I always work towards finishing assignments a night or two before the due date. People may call you an overachiever but, It's a relief to get things done and move on to other things. Plus, seeing other friends freak out right before a due date make me so anxious, why not complete things ahead of time?

2. Take it Easy: Study bit by bit everyday. Break up a difficult task into parts, then tackle a few parts each day. Leaving it all to the last night is tempting, but don't fall into that trap.

3. Find Motivation: It can be very hard to stay focused while studying. What I do is find something I can looked forward to. Create a sort of anchor that holds you down and helps you stay focused. I like to make plans for the weekend ahead of time, and use them as my motivation throughout the week. So, although I have to write a paper, I can always look forward to seeing friends Friday night, and that motivates me to get my work done.

4. Treat Yourself: Set mini goals while you study. Tell yourself you can enjoy some ice cream after you finish prepping your PowerPoint. Take minutes in between tasks and refresh yourself, get up, check the time and walk around, go talk to your roommate or listen to music. This prevents you from feeling overwhelmed and loosing track of time.

Good luck!

One Direction News, pshhhhh nothing Directioners Can't Handle

In recent news we were told about how the boys of One Direction are going on a break for a year. After they release their fifth album they will not be going on tour, instead they'll be going their separate ways and working on "individual goals" for about a year.
The big question is, will they get back together after their hiatus?

I believe that they will. I don't think they will be together for another four years after their break, but I'm hoping they won't permanently break up in a year.
Of course all us Directioners were shocked at this announcement but hey, cut them some slack. They have been working their butts off since they started blowing up the music charts. They have released an album every year since X-Factor. That is super impressive if you compare that to pretty much all other artists.

So, I can understand the band's need to take a break. It is definitely well deserved. They've had the happiness of millions of fans, on their shoulders. Thus it is OK for them to take a break and re ground themselves and their personal lives. Hey we should be happy for them and all their success. I love their music and their passion for their work and the love they have for their fans.

People claim that the fans are the ones who need a break from the band. I disagree, a week hasn't passed by without me searching for Harry Styles backgrounds on Pinterest. Or looking up new pics of Liam and Sophia on Instagram, or analyzing Harry's and Louis' tweets to see if they have come out yet (LARRY IS REAL). So, no, I don't think I'll be able to survive a year without new music from One Direction, but I'm sure they won't stray from social media while they're relaxing at home or climbing mountains to pick flowers, hahaha.
